Oh my godness, itunes is awful!

What a clunky, counterintuitive, slow systems resource hog!

Anyone know a non-itunes solution for transfering and listening to
mp3s on an iphone?

  1. I think you are forced to use iTunes with an iPhone. At least you can play Doodle Jump while you're cursing the Imperial Apple Corporation.

  3. I'm trying to remember if DoubleTwist works with iPods and iPhones. You might want to check it out.

  4. You are supposed to buy a Mac, too. ;)

It runs pretty well on Macs.

  6. Thanks for the tips everyone, Sharepod is doing an excellent job of being fast and not fussy!

I also installed FileApp in order to read PDFs on my iPhone, very handy and a great way of having obscure, "maybe I'll need this someday?" rpg resources available.

  7. "What a clunky, counterintuitive, slow..."

You forgot "draconian," "proprietary," and "snoopy" All six very good reasons on why I'll never own and iPhone or use iTunes.

I'm not sure of you can "root" an iPhone or not, but it might be a consideration.

  8. Can't you jailbreak it and install Android on it? ;-)
