Read it Here.
It sounds like the British Planet Algol campaign is headed well down the road to ENCOUNTER CRITICAL gonzo awesomeness! I'm beginning to think that "Sean Wills" is actually Robert Anton Wilson...
I'm eagerly awaiting what occurs at THE BLACK ZIGGURAT!

Was this the origin of the name "Planet Algol"?

Just noticed this while looking through 'Booty and the Beasts.'
I believe it was a fortunate coincidence, although it may have been my subconscious as I know I saw that illustration well before the Planet Algol campaign.
ReplyDeleteAnd I purposely made Planet Algol the fourth planet of the Beta Persai system due to that illustration.
ReplyDelete*scratches a huge red marker through a module I've been working on* The name Black Ziggurat is already taken... argh!
ReplyDeleteUse it Chgowiz, spread the meme !
ReplyDelete@ Chowgitz: The Black Ziggurat seems to be a multidimensional entity like Moorcock's Tanelorn, so it only makes sense that there would be multiple versions! BTW thanks for dropping by Chowgitz, love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog. I'm guessing youve probably already seen Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone. I really liker that movie i wonder if anybody else does
ReplyDelete@ Jason: Thanks! I have seen Spacehunter but it was decades ago and I don't remember much more than three evil hoochie-mamas and their pet sea serpent. I'd certainly love to see it again, esp. considering it was produced by Ivan Reitman. Checked out your blog, love some of your pieces, Disrupting Ray!
